West Newton
Public
Library has joined with 20 other libraries in Westmoreland
County to create the Westmoreland Library Network
(WLN). As a result of the WLN project, you have access
to materials from participating libraries through
one on-line Catalog. You can search, place requests,
have items sent to a library of your choosing, and
keep a reading list.
Anyone can search
our catalog on-line. The
more advanced patron features mentioned above
require a library card number and password. If
you have one of our library cards, you will receive
a new WLN library card (like
the one shown to the right) on your
next visit to the library. You can
use your current library card for the on-line
catalog until then. If you don't have
a library card, see the librarian.
The
Westmoreland Library Network is the result of
a special project funded by Westmoreland Now
and Forever Fund of the Community
Foundation of Westmoreland County, the Richard
King Mellon Foundation and a grant through Library
Services and Technology Act of Pennsylvania. |
