Both children and adults earned prizes and helped support their library by reading. The library whose participants read the most minutes above their set goal will won the Million Minute Reading ChaIIenge trophy for display at the library.
As a WCFLS member library, Monessen Public Library & District Center was proud to be involved in the Million Minute Reading Challenge program. Click here to find out how libraries participated.
Whether you favor books, newspapers, or magazines, any time spent reading outside of school or work counted. The minutes spent listening to audio books were also allowed.
