Children from throughout the Monessen Library District can participate in local chess tournaments held at their libraries. Contact your local library for more information.
Winners from the local tournaments will be invited to play in the Monessen District Finals, held at the Westmoreland County Courthouse.
There will be two divisions – Junior for children in grades K – 4 and Senior for those in grades 5 – 8.
