NTIA invited interested parties to provide comments by August 27, 2002, in response to section 1703 of the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA). Follow this link to read those comments.
On August 15, 2003, NTIA released a report pursuant to section 1703 of the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA), evaluating the effectiveness of technology protection measures and safety policies used by educational institutions. The Act requested NTIA to evaluate whether the currently available Internet blocking or filtering technology protection measures and Internet safety policies adequately address the needs of educational institutions.
