It is important that you let your State Representative, Senator and the Governor know how important your library is to you.

then send them a message by email or letter.

  • On the Pennsylvania General Assembly Web Site, the page that appears displays a map and fields to either enter your zip code and click the "Go" button, or enter your county and click the "Go" button. You can also click on your county on the Map. Entering the zip code or clicking the county will display your State Representative and Senator. If you use either the county field or the map, when the list from your county appears, press CTRL F, enter the name of your municipality and click find.
  • Click on their name to go to their page. These pages have their mailing address and email (if available.)
  • Click on their email address or write a letter to make sure they get the message concerning how important library funding is to you personally.
